Been looking in different grocery stores for this food but they don't offer it. This is what they call as Pastel and this comes from camiguin. I haven't been there but I discovered pastel through a tv show before.Rustan used to sell it however after the fire and renovatio , they are no longer selling this. Was lucky enough to find this in Megamall. A bit more expensive but better than purchsing a ticket to go to camiguin. :-p

A new beginning....
Everybody wants to have a good life, but sometimes shit happens for a reason. We can’t turn back the time but we still try to correct it. There are times we just leave it all behind and just start a new life. How I wish this is possible. Maybe I just don’t know where to start or what to do with my life. I admit that I have so many interest and activities but I don’t think I can do it all in my whole lifetime. I’m hoping one day I could really find my happiness. I do remember one post that I made in my facebook wall.
” There will come a time that you need to give your everything just to gain something. “
Yes, I know that I need to sacrifice something if I really want to achieve something. Life can be difficult sometimes. You can’t always get what you want but you can’t be satisfied with just what you have. It makes me want to fight more and prove that I am strong.
Can you share any experience that makes you want to work harder and sacrifice something? What did you do to overcome that trial?

Road Trip
We just had a recent road trip in the northern part of Luzon. I love taking pictures while in the car. Something different to look at especially when you live in a city for almost all of your life. I was just so lucky that even my aunt would drive as fast as 100-140km/h there were still a lot of decent pictures in my camera phone.
We started our trip in Cubao and been planning on where to go first. Shall we go to the farthest which is tarlac or enjoy the nearer city of San Fernando.
While in NLEX, the road is narrower than in SLEX so there are a lot of cars on the highway. Still no great view to take a picture with. Been playing with my aunt's camera and my phone to check which can take a better picture with. :-) Here is one picture using her camera.
We met her boyfriend first at SM and also to shop for some items. We spent another hour going to Floridablanca to take some pictures inside the BASA Airbase. We saw a lot of old planes that our country used. Most of it are no longer working. Was even more disappointed after knowing that if ever that we encounter a war, we don't have enough planes to defend the country. tsk tsk...
It's just sad also that the security in that area was too tight also. Can't take much pictures or post it online. But all i can say about the Air Base is that the scenery is beautiful. you could clearly see the sky. You would even appreciate the nature with the beautiful mountains surrounding it. If I could only catch watching the sunset from there maybe I can get a really good picture.
Next Trip was going to Clark for target shooting. it was more than an hour drive but I really like the view in SCTEX. So many nice sceneries. What made it better is at that time of the day, the sun rays gives dramatic effect to the mountains. I also like the part of the highway wherein you will pass a mountain which was aplit in two. And again its another picture perfect moment.
As we arrived in Clark the place was somehow peaceful. Maybe it helped that it was a former military base and not so many people lived there. We reached the target range and proud to say that it was easy for me to learn how to use the gun. :-) first shot, Headshot!!!(BEWARE!) then the next shots were bull's eye. I'm already trigger happy but this made me happier. :-p. It seems like 50 bullets were not enough for me and for my aunt. We should have gone to 100 (each) \m/. I really hoping that we can do it again(minus the travel time).
As we travel back to Pampanga, we made a stop over at convenience store to buy some liquors. Its just so sad that we got lost on our way back. The designated driver not aware that we already passed the elevated U-turn slot. That situation had added 1 or 2 more hours in the travel time. We were already hungry. I was dissappointed that he didnt want to stop over to the nearest restaurants because they were not serving filipino foods. In Clark, most of the restaurants there are serving Japanese and Korean food. We are almost near floridablanca when we had reached the nearest Jollibee. Seems like you won't be able to talk to anyone of us at that time because we are all tired and hungry. Somehow that had been an interview session for Jepoy and Ate Cel.
Around 10pm we finally reached Jepoy's house and this is where we will have our sleepover. Had a little drink first. We are already planning the next activity. About to go to sleep but we experienced a problem. BLACKOUT! It's really hard to sleep when you are not at your own home but it's harder most especially if its hot. It came back after 15 minutes. Took a few hours sleep and I was so excited to start the day because I'm looking forward for our next destination, Isdaan Restaurant in Gerona, Tarlac. I wish I'll have time to post the pictures soon.
See you on my next trip!

One Sky
Just a week ago I went to the hospital for my check up. The doctor's secretary was kinda late for the registration. The clinic is located at the 9th floor of the new hospital building. I think there were only 4 doctors who occupies that floor. It was a saturday morning so no other patients yet. I can run in the whole lobby however I got a wound after tripping over the other night in San Miguel Ave. To maximize my time, I went to the window. Its a good thing that we are on the 9th floor. The view was so nice and I took some pictures. It’s good to see the clouds topping over the streets of Manila. Although I can’t say that it was a perfect scenery, I find it relaxing. It seems that it was saying that even though life can be so hard and some of us may not be materially rich, we are just looking at one sky.
Froyo!! Froyo!! Froyo!!!
Frozen Yogurt.. One of my favorite food. you can make different combinations for it. I tried a lot of outlets already. So far I like Yougubud but I think they're not into business anymore. I don't see their kiosk in Shangri-La Plaza and in Megamall. California Berry is next on the list. Red Mango and White Hat are good but they are kinda expensive. I like it when you get to create your own froyo but I always end up paying more. Its hard to estimate the toppings most especially if they are so many to choose from.
My usual order is the original flavor yogurt then crushed graham and walnuts. Sometimes I add peach and banana. If I'm depressed I add chocolates.
I dont know how many variants we can make with Frozen Yogurt but I'm willing to try on everything.
Now what is your favorite Froyo? :-)

Food Trip
Everytime me and my aunt would meet we would always go to some restaurants and go on food trip. Some may be delicious and for some, not worth the dollar paying for. hmmm.. I might post more about food here. :-p
but who knows right?
Should I start from the latest? :-p how I wish I brought my memory card.
Since I'm enjoying creating blogs right now, I might be able to post atleast 10 articles today. :-)
"I'm Busy"
I mentioned a while ago that I am working for a company but at the same time I have my some "sidelines".
I sell chocolates to my officemates and create beaded accessories when I'm at home. So far that keeps me busy while I'm still thinking if I'm going to continue my studies in UP. you can check my online store at http://sweetkissessouvenirs.multiply.com I'm sharing this business with my business partner, Neil. And I'm happy to say that somehow it's successful because we were able to get our investments back in just a few weeks. I hope we can expand soon. :-)

My First Blog
Yeah, I know, the title sucks and it has been used by so many people now. Well, since I can't find anything to do right now, I might just share all those experiences that I had for the past few months. oh, wait, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Aiza,23 and currently working as an office staff. In my spare time, I watch movies, browse the web and shop just like any other girls. But most of the time I try different things. My Aunt is my partner in crime. We have so many adventures together and I will be posting about it in the next coming blogs. I hope you'll enjoy reading my site.
Thanks,
Aiza
